Chateau Musar was established in 1930 by Gaston Hochar. Serge, the oldest son took over the role of wine-maker in 1959. Decanter Magazine has paid tribute to his achievements by nominating him “Decanter Man of the Year 1984”. The vineyards of Chateau Musar are located in the beautiful Bekaa Valley. The red wines are mainly made of Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault and are characterized by their finesse, maturity, complexity and full body.
