Wine Articles: Spectacular Wiroa Station Wine Cellar by MAP Architects

Wiroa Station Wine Cellar was designed by MAP Architects and is located in the Bay of Islands of New Zealand. The project consisted of a modern concrete building that acts as a viewing platform and has the ability to shelter hundreds of precious wines.

Here is more information from the architects, as seen on Contemporist: “Restricted to 25 square meters due to local planning regulations, and set into the hillside to reduce the presence on the skyline, this simple building forms a calm backdrop to the scenery, intended to enhance the enjoyment of the environment, and wine tasting.
